One of the things we love best about New Hampshire is the fact that food options are bountiful. But it’s not just that our food is good, it’s that there are tons of options and so many of them are unique. Just take this pizza buffet in Portsmouth!

Heading to Portsmouth Gas Light Co. in Portsmouth means the opportunity to enjoy a large menu full of fresh and tasty items.

The restaurant is light and airy, but feels perfectly cozy in the winter. That might be partially because they have a wonderful pizza oven in the pizza pub downstairs.

One fun fact about this spot is that the original interior, built in the 1800s, was excavating using a pickle bucket. What this means we’re not entirely sure, but we do love how rustic it sounds!

The pub is separated into two areas. One includes the bar with a great happy hour from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
