The falls are located along La Verkin Creek, about six miles from Toquerville.
Google To get there, take State Route 17 through town and turn on Spring Street. After a half mile, the road turns into dirt. Watch your odometer, stay right at the forks in the road, and you’ll come to the falls 5.8 miles from downtown Toquerville.
The road is pretty rough, and a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended.
Matt Gannan/Google Toquerville Falls is located in a pretty remote part of the state, and you may not have cell service out here. Make sure you’re prepared for back-country travel before you leave civilization.
Of course, once you get out here you’ll be surrounded by iconic southern Utah landscape.
Deena Pease/Google While you’ll likely encounter some people at the falls, especially on weekends, it tends to be a lot less crowded than other, more accessible places.

James Buckley/Google The area at the top is great for wading, and the middle level is perfect for deeper water or splashing around a little. Take care to stay away from the cliffs, though. Many people have been seriously injured over the years from falls, and the rocks can be covered in slippery moss.
The third level is a deeper pool of water that’s perfect for swimming.
Nathan Bronemann/Google Sometimes you’ll find a rope swing attached to the cliffs, and some people jump from the cliffs above into the pool. Again, take extreme caution. The water level of the bottom pool changes a lot throughout the summer, and a fall here can be deadly.
Toquerville Falls is the perfect place to spend a summer afternoon.
Renee Gamer/Google Bring along some chairs, an umbrella and plenty of sunscreen so you can stay all day long.
