Well, Lambert’s Cafe is Sikeston and Ozark will have you scratching your head after, but in a good way. This quirky restaurant’s claim to fame isn’t just its delicious food, but how they deliver some of your food.
Lambert’s Cafe was established in 1942 in Sikeston by Earl and Agnes Lambert.

Though rationing during World War II made it difficult to operate a restaurant, the Lambert’s still made it a point to serve a hearty meal of meat, vegetables and dessert to all of their customers.

Today, more than 70 years later, Lambert’s Cafe is thriving. The restaurant got so popular, that they opened additional spots in Ozark, Missouri and Foley, Alabama.

You’ll notice when you walk in, a sort of hodgepodge of decor. License plates and flags from different states, old family photos and framed magazine and newspaper clippings that featured Lambert’s at some point in time.

Many notable guests who come to Lambert’s tend to leave their mark, so take a careful look at memorabilia on the wall.

But what makes this place truly unique, is the “throwed rolls.” Servers walk up and down the aisles of the restaurant throwing bread rolls to customers.
