The lodge is one of Golden Gate Park’s greatest hidden gems. Consisting of three large casting ponds, it’s truly an angler and fly fisher’s paradise. You don’t even have to be experienced to try them out—everybody is welcome!

The ponds were constructed in 1938, five years after the Golden Gate Angling & Casting Club was formed. Currently, the club has more than 1,300 members worldwide, making it the largest fly fishing club in the world.
