Every display is packed with interesting finds, from geodes to old tools and plenty of small fossils in every shape and size. They’re displayed well, and in containers that keep tiny hands from getting too close.

Seeing giant fish that once swam where we live is a bit of a wild thought to have. Visiting the museum is recommended if you’ve ever seen and loved Monument Rocks.

This fossil and history museum also has a great big of more recent history, especially from the Kansas area. Old tools, folk art, and plenty of insights into how early Kansans lived. Can you imagine living in a house like this?
