What could be better to chase away the winter blues than a sea of orchids? Orchids have captivated humans for ages and this is your chance to see them in droves as scores of orchid growers and vendors descend upon the North Carolina Arboretum for a two-day orchid festival, Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5, 2020.
Did you know there are an estimated 22,000 to 26,000 species of orchids? There’s even an orchid that grows entirely underground and is pollinated by ants! For a novice or learned enthusiast, there will be so much to appreciate and learn at the upcoming Asheville Orchid Festival.
