Next is this little covered bridge, a fun spot to slow down and really enjoy during the fall months. Of course, it’s just as beautiful in the spring but nothing goes better together than red leaves and a covered bridge.

The third tunnel you’ll find here is a tree tunnel, an almost complete canopy of trees that surround the path on both sides. It’s just a stunning trail from end to end.

12 or so miles there, and 12 or so miles back means that you’ve got lots of time to spend outdoors. Bring a picnic lunch, take your good walking shoes, and enjoy this easy trail with tunnels galore.
