Weaving throughout southwestern Louisiana, the Creole Nature Trail is a 180-mile All-American Road that’s perfect year-round.

Don’t worry, if you’re not up for the full 180 miles, you can break it down into an easy day trip to fit your schedule.
You can start and stop your adventure anywhere along the trail, and there’s a handy little trail map to help you plan your route.
There are several wildlife preserves where you might want to stop, including the Sabine National Wildlife Refuge, the Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge, and the Lacassine National Wildlife Refuge.
