As we start spending more time outdoors, we’ve been on the lookout for things to add to our summertime must-do lists. Of course, there’s plenty to include but this park is one of our favorites. With beautiful views and one of the most unique ways to see them, you might want to put this one at the very top of that bucket list!

In the small town of Crystal Springs, you’ll find one of Mississippi’s most lovely parks.

All 74 acres of Chautauqua Park are perfect for outdoor exploration and tranquility.

The area includes a 35-acre lake and some wonderful trails for exercise or simply clearing your head.

The Tree Top Trail is one of our favorite hikes in the state and, fortunately for local residents, it’s located right here at Chautauqua.

The trail provides access to a variety of unique views, including forests and streams.

And it’s unique position, elevated above the ground, means some of the best views around!

The Tree Top Trail includes more than 1,500 feet of elevated boardwalk which means you can see the area in a way other trails just don’t allow.

The trail is considered easy and will be accessible for most folks who are mobile.
