If you grew up in Massachusetts, you probably have fond memories of driving over what is officially named the Maurice J. Tobin Memorial Bridge. However, all Bay Staters either call this beauty Tobin Bridge, or its former name, Mystic River Bridge. This magnificent structure spans across nearly 12,000 feet, passing through Boston, Chelsea, and Charlestown. Tobin Bridge is 6-lanes wide, and has become a true landmark in Massachusetts. Being the tallest and most impressive bridge in our state, it’s easy to say that Tobin Bridge is the best bridge in the Bay State.

While there are many bridges in Massachusetts, Tobin Bridge is the tallest at 254-feet tall. Not only is this the tallest bridge in Massachusetts, but it’s the largest in all of New England.
