When it comes to hiking, we can pretty much find a trail for whatever mood we’re in. Meandering through Thousand Hills State Park, in Kirksville, the Thousand Hills Trail will take you through beautiful forested areas and along an idyllic lake.

The 7.6-mile trail promises an abundance of natural beauty, but you’re going to have to work for it. Rated moderate, Thousand Hills Trail features some rocky terrain, and you’ll have to climb up some slight hills.
