In order to help potential pet owners adopt a cat or dog during these difficult times, Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center has created a pilot program called Curbside Cuddles.

Any adopter who is interesting in helping a furry friend in need, but who is unable to visit the shelter will be able to go through the steps to complete the adoption regardless.

This trial program will allow potential adopters to submit a pet request online or by phone.

Staff members will then proceed with a virtual adoption, helping to schedule a Curbside Cuddle pick-up outside of the shelter, or even schedule a delivery with their Cuddle Shuttle!

Anyone who is interested in adopting a pet can begin by viewing their online kennel, reading all about the dogs and cats there.

Once an adopter finds the right pet for them, the Pet Resource Center staff will be in contact in order to approve and finalize the adoption.
