The good old days may be long gone but there are still places where you can get a taste of the past – and Ardy & Ed’s Drive In is one of them. A total blast from the past, the drive-in hasn’t changed much since opening decades ago. The vintage vibes don’t end with the surroundings, though. There’s also the classic drive-in fare, which is delivered to hungry patrons by car hops on roller skates. Take a look:

Though the eatery started off as an A&W drive-in, it’s been Ardy & Ed’s since the 1970s. Regardless of the name, it’s always been known for its tasty draft root beer – among other things.

Aside from its name, not much has changed at the drive-in over the years. The menu still boasts an array of fast food classics.

And make sure to save room for dessert. The sweet selection features a variety of ice cream-based treats and old-fashioned root beer floats, of course.

Serving up a classic drive-in experience, the food at Ardy & Ed’s is delivered by carhops on roller skates. And to really make sure diners are transported to the past, 50s and 60s music is played over the drive-in’s speakers.
