What do you get when you cross the most haunted town in Nevada with the most haunted building in that town? The answer is the Old Washoe Club. Virginia City is already renowned for its insane paranormal activity and number of haunted buildings. However, the Old Washoe Club takes the cake, and to prove it, you can experience an overnight ghost hunt where you and your group will be locked down in the club just like the guys on Ghost Adventures were (and during which time they recorded some crazy paranormal images and sounds including the first ever full body apparition.) Located at 112 S. C Street, Viginia City’s Old Washoe Club is the oldest saloon in town as well as the most haunted building in Virginia City.

The Washoe Club also has a haunted museum filled with local lore and paranormal items. Admission to the museum is included in the haunted history tour which, by the way, is kid- and pet-friendly. This 40-minute tour given by extremely knowledgeable and friendly tour guids takes you through all three floors of this historic and haunted building as well as the creepy crypt.

This is the infamous spiral staircase that was on Ripley’s Believe it or Not as the longest of its kind with no supporting pole. It was custom built in the 1870s for the Millionaire’s Club.
