When it comes to bridges, you won’t find another quite like Holton Street Bridge. At first glance, it looks just like any other bridge. However, it’s what’s underneath the bridge that makes it so special. Take a look:

…and that’s because there’s a swing park underneath it.

The swings were installed under the bridge back in 2012.

In addition to several traditional swings, there are a couple of tire swings as well as a handicap accessible swing.

Designed for park-goers of all ages, the swings are sized for kids and kids at heart.

A hit with locals, the swings usually aren’t empty for long. Luckily, there are several benches around for non-swinging visitors.

There are several places near the park that are perfect for a serene stroll, including the Holton Street Bridge’s pedestrian walkway. There’s also a path along the Riverwalk, where you can enjoy amazing views of the Milwaukee River.

Before visiting the park, remember that it closes nightly, from 10 p.m. – 8 a.m.
