Rhode Island’s Nicholas Farm Management Area borders Connecticut, but the property belongs entirely to the Ocean State. If you’ve never explored this stunning nature preserve, you really should, especially if you love being surrounded by lush forests and peaceful wetlands. There’s even a hidden waterfall here, which is pretty special for our state.

Located in Kent County in the town of Coventry, Nicholas Farm Management Area is a 1,429 acre nature preserve.

This peaceful preserve is beautiful in any season, but it’s especially popular in the autumn.

While some people think Carbuncle Pond is the best part of Nicholas Farm Management Area, we happen to think the slide waterfall is worthy of that title.
