It may not feel like it yet in certain parts of NorCal, but it’s officially the spring season and you know what that means—spring blooms! It’s only a matter of time before our social feeds become flooded with photos of blooming flowers and vibrant foliage. We’re definitely not complaining, though—in fact, we welcome it. The massive tulip bloom that takes place every year at Crystal Hermitage Gardens in Nevada City is one of our favorites, and it’s a great example of the beauty the spring season brings every year.

Editor’s Note: In response to the current situation with coronavirus and COVID-19, Crystal Hermitage has canceled its 2020 Springtime at Ananda event for April and May. They hope to share plenty of photos of the tulip bloom on their Facebook, and they plan to commence with Summertime at Ananda in July as planned.

Located in Nevada City, Crystal Hermitage is a beautiful garden that has attracted visitors from all over the world. It’s filled to the brim with many types of magnificent flowers and plants, but the spring tulip bloom is by far one of the garden’s most exciting events.
