The caves are tucked away in the hills and rugged terrain of northwestern Oklahoma. You’ll access the caves down a walkway and stairs. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear, as the tour involves a strenuous walk.

The guided tour has lights and is led by trained professionals but there are also undeveloped caves that have no lights, pathways, or guides. For only $8 per person, you can buy a permit to go exploring on your own if you’re a little more adventurous.

The cave hovers around 60 degrees during the hottest months, so it’s the perfect summer activity to keep you cool. Guided tours are offered every hour from 9 am to 4 pm for only $10/adult, $7/child, and $8/seniors. A maximum of 40 visitors are allowed on each tour (subject to change due to social distancing guidelines).

You’ll descend more than 300 feet below the surface of the earth and traverse more than 300 stairs. It’s very common to see bats in the caves, so be prepared for an up-close and personal experience with these interesting creatures.
