Dubbed a “sailing museum,” guests can step aboard the vessels for a unique glimpse into the past.

Though replicas, great care has been taken to construct the boats as authentically as possible.

In fact, they were built completely by hand – without power tools!

But all the effort has definitely been worth it since the ships are said to be among the most authentic, if not the most authentic, replicas of Columbus-era ships ever built.

Owned by the Columbus Foundation, the boats travel to new ports almost every week of the year.
