We don’t know if you’re aware, but did you know Kansas doesn’t have very many natural swimming holes? Thankfully, this great spot is a natural lake fed by a spring, which makes it the perfect swimming hole for any Kansan looking for a great day out in the sun.

Today’s wonderful destination is none other than Lake Scott State Park, one of our favorites among many Kansas beauties.

11 Miles north of Scott City, on a scenic byway, this stunning 100 acre natural lake is fed by a local spring.

With all the things to do here, you can easily spend a day or a week just camping out and enjoying the natural beauty of our landscape. Flat, who?
