It’s probably no surprise that one of the most photographed places in the entire United States is right here in Florida. According to an article by Conde Nast, data was procured from the Google Maps photo uploader tool to find the top ten most photographed places in the country, and Key West, Florida made the list. There are so many reasons people would want to take photos in Key West—the southernmost point in the continental United States, the polydactyl cats at Hemingway’s house, or even the beauty and charm that is Duval Street. This is one city that has so much to see…and capture on film.

Florida gets quite a bit of tourist traffic throughout the year—we’re talking millions upon millions of visitors.

What makes Key West so spectacular is the fact that it is a pure tropical paradise island city, and one of the main parts of the archipelago that is the Florida Keys.

One main reason why Key West is one of the most photographed places in the country is because it has a marker boasting the southernmost point in the country, about 90 miles north of Cuba.

Of course being so far south in the country, you’ll be able to catch some pretty stellar sunsets, which happen to also be a reason to bring your camera to the city.
