Colorado is known both near and far for its purple mountain majesties, mile-high elevation, and certain legalities that not all states have, but did you know that we also have our fair share of unforgettable bridges? While you can find one in nearly any town, the most incredible has to be the world-famous Royal Gorge in Canon City:
Billed as being the highest suspension bridge in the country, the Royal Gorge is hands-down an Only in Colorado attraction that you will want to add to your bucket list!

Constructed with sturdy steel and 1,292 wooden planks, the Royal Gorge Bridge is strong enough to withhold both ample foot traffic, thanks to routine upkeep that keeps the structure in tip-top shape.
