The museum has been open since August 2007, and has recently had a new hall put together in 2015 to really pull everything together. Now, it’s clean, easy to read, and beautiful.

Telling the stories of those who have been lost to larger figures or otherwise is their main goal, and it’s a noble one. The importance of these unsung heroes truly is the difference between life and death for groups of people or even scientific advancements they helped put forth.

They also host events as well as lesson plans, curriculum, and even classroom banners.

The center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.on Saturdays.
