This 2-mile hike is ranked as easy and can be enjoyed by almost anyone. If you love being outside in nature, this short and sweet hike won’t disappoint.

The best time of year to hike this trail is between March and June. Head out during the early part of the season to see the brightest and most colorful blanket of wildflowers you have ever set your eyes on.

In addition to lots of colorful wildflowers, the view of Diamond Lake is spectacular. On a clear day, you can see for miles and miles.

Although we may not have a superbloom in Southern California as we have had in recent years, the wildflower season here in SoCal won’t be any less spectacular this year.

Want to experience this trail for yourself? Please note, there is a $10 parking fee plus $3 per person to park at the lake. Also, the lake and trail are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so make sure to plan accordingly.
