And there is definitely plenty of exploring to do very close by. Right around the corner from the restaurant, you’ll find a historic mill that dates back to the 1800s. When the water is flowing, you’ll be treated to a picturesque waterfall, worthy of a visit and a picture or two.

Also near the restaurant is Rough River Dam State Resort Park, and of course the lake and dam itself, so really you could plan an entire getaway to Falls of Rough.
