As the country hunkers down to social distance and quarantine as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we find ourselves craving a routine to keep us busy. One woman created a version for her family that’s now gone viral and it motivated us to create our own! If you’re in search of a way to plan your days while in the house, check out our own New Hampshire daily quarantine schedule!
8am - Wake up and get dressed!
1000heads / Flickr Make New England proud and wear full plaid. It’s still too upsetting to wear anything Bruins or Red Sox related. And don’t even start on the Pats!
9am - Breakfast
chiotsrun / Flickr Maple syrup anyone? No better excuse to load up on morning sugar than maple sugar season!
10am - Tidy up
Void Blatherer / Flickr Clean the house a bit and imagine what it’ll be like to enjoy the fresh air of a New Hampshire spring.
11am - Catch up on local news
manchesterlibrary / Flickr Argue with people about the coverage in the bigger cities versus other areas.
12pm - Time for lunch!
jpellgen / Flickr You’ve got plenty of time to figure out how to make the best clam chowder!
1pm - Hit the store for toilet paper
Dan Keck / Flickr You realize you don’t actually need toilet paper, but DO get yourself more maple syrup. At the rate you consumed it this morning, you’re going to need about five of them.
2pm - Video chat your friends
aehdeschaine / Flickr Compare who still has snow on the ground.
3pm to 5pm - Shower and take a nap
TCL8TO7 / Flickr Wash away those germs you picked up from the store and prepare for more staring out the window.
5pm - Dinner
nwretail / Flickr Now’s a great time to dig into the good stuff! The frozen pizza you meant to save for after all the fresh food ran out is a great thing to eat tonight!
6pm - Dessert
L.A. Burdick Chocolates / Facebook Chocolate mice! Now’s a great time to build up that New Hampshire pride.
7pm - Take a walk through the neighborhood
perspective / Flickr Run into the neighbors, scream “how about the Sox?!” Remember there are no Sox and cry.
8pm to 9pm - Snacks and comparison
andrewmalone / Flickr Dig into those snacks a little more aggressively and check social media to see what everyone else did today. Be proud of yourself for taking that walk!
10pm - Time for bed!
