New Hampshire is one of the best places to be if you love the outdoors. There are lots of ways to enjoy it, from hiking to biking to swimming to skiing to fishing. This is the kind of state where everyone has different interests and each person excels at them in their own way. Bagging new peaks, biking in new areas and fishing for new catches. This story out of West Stewartstown proves that you just never know what type of success you’re going to see in the Granite State!

Fishing in much of the country is considered a warm-weather activity. You’re out on the water, exposed to the elements, might as well do it in good weather! But that’s not exactly the case here in New Hampshire.

Not only is this fish the largest lake trout caught in New Hampshire, but its size also qualifies it as the largest in New England!
