Welcome to Sitting Bull Falls Trail! While there are quite a few trails in this area of the Lincoln National Forest, this easy hike leads you to one of our best swimming holes, that’s complete with a beautiful waterfall.

This short, half-mile hike leads you to the Sitting Bull Falls Recreation Area. Although this hike is short, it’s a bit rocky, so make sure to bring comfortable shoes.

Along the way to the springs, you’ll find breathtaking views. It’s often very hot out here, so make sure to wear a hat.

Once you get to the end, you’ll find Sitting Bull Falls. These beautiful streams are situated in a canyon high above these natural pools and fall 150 feet down below. Not only are they refreshingly cool, but they’re absolutely gorgeous.
