New Hampshire certainly has some fun traditions. If you’ve lived here all your life (or even visited!) you’ll surely know of a few and probably have some favorites. One of ours is the one that takes place each year in Nashua. It might be one of the newer traditions, but it’s fun nonetheless and we love looking forward to it!
The Pedder’s Daughter in Nashua gets its name from a famed Haverhill resident. Maggie Cline was the daughter of local peddler Patrick Cline. Maggie ran away from home at the age of 16 and began a notable career as a vaudeville that lasted 50 years! Hence, the peddler’s daughter.

The menu isn’t completely public yet, but we have noticed that there’s going to be a Guinness braised beef, colcannon potatoes, sumo carrots, with a Guinness reduction pan jus. YES PLEASE.
