Van, a small North Texas community, is home to a restaurant called The Farmhouse that serves down-home comfort food in a charming red barn. It’s in the middle of nowhere, and the drive out is simply gorgeous.
Located in Van, the epitome of small-town Texas, The Farmhouse is anything but an ordinary little red barn – though you’d never know based on the exterior alone. For the past 17 years, this family-owned restaurant has been serving some of the best Southern comfort food in the state.
