Taking a ride on the trolley will allow riders to expereince what transportation in the area was like at the beginning of the 20th-century. The trolley originally operated between 1908 and 1928 and provided residents with social and commercial transportation.

Today, the trolley will take visitors on a 15 minute ride across the historic Bridge of Flowers and along the Shelburne Falls and Colrain Street Railway. Admission for adults is $4 and $2 for children aged 6 to 12.

Included in your admission is access to the old pump car. This train car allows riders to travel the tracks by pumping a lever up and down for power and momentum. It’s a fun way to experience an old-fashioned mode of transportation.

The Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum opens for the 2020 season on May 25th. The trolley operates on Saturday and Sundays from 11 AM until 5 PM. During the months of July and August, the museum will also be open on Mondays from 1 PM until 5 PM. Visit their website for tickets and additional information.
