Wilson State Park has 44 primitive camping sites, most featuring lake views. There are also 8 cabins available and nearly 140 RV hookups. Tent camping is around $10 per night while cabins will run about $135 per night. Prices vary by date and accommodation style.

One of the biggest attractions at Wilson State Park are the stunning outcrops. These massive rock formations jut up from the water. At different times in the season, as water levels shift, you can walk up and explore the formation base.

Hiking is another very popular activity in Wilson State Park. Many feel that the best hiking trails in the state can be found in the park. There are 5 trails total and over 35 miles to explore by foot or bike.

Kayaking and paddle boarding are also popular activities. The lake is 24 miles long and has over 100 miles of shoreline to discover.

The park office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Entry, camping, and activity fees vary by site and date so be sure to check the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, and Tourism website.
