Unlike Wilson Lake State Park up in Sylvan Grove, Wilson State Fishing Lake is hiding out in Buffalo, Kansas, where things are a bit quieter.

True to the name, this lake is great for fishing, especially if you like channel cat. Other than catfish, you’ll find bass, crappie, bluegill, and redear.
