Here at Only In New York, we love discovering attractions that have been transformed throughout the course of the destination’s history. In the past, we’ve featured restaurants that were once firehouses and even McDonald’s restaurants that are situated inside of historic homes, our state truly has it all. If you’re up for discovering more attractions that have undergone major transformations, then see how this former airport runway is now one of our state’s longest-running flea markets. Take a look!
What started off as a little six-table flea market back in 1970 is now entering its 50th year of operation, and it just so happens to be doing so on a massive 115-acre airport field. Say hello to the Stormville Flea Market & Antique Show!
