Around this time of year when you’re living in New York, you may begin to worry about succumbing to cabin fever but have no fear, you’ll never run out of things to do in our state during the wintertime! Adding more exciting and exclusive events to your 2020 calendar, it’s time to get a look at how Storm King Art Center’s Winter Weekends will once again be making a return.
Open to the public between the months of April and December, on select Winter Weekends each year at Storm King Art Center you can come and experience this attraction during our most snowy season.

With their 2020 dates officially announced, explorers of New York can plan to pay the 500-acre art park a visit on Februrary 15 and 16 and March 21 and 22 to experience our Winter Weekends.

Showing you a whole new side of New York’s largest art park, while you won’t be able to rent bikes or explore the galleries and museum building, you’ll be able to check out the park’s massive art pieces outdoors.

With Guided Tours leaving at 1 p.m. from the front of the Museum Building, visitors can learn more about all of the different art pieces that you’ll find out here surrounding by our winter landscapes.

If there’s enough snow on the ground while you’re visiting during one of Storm King Art Center’s Winter Weekends, snowshoes will be allowed in the park’s designated areas - sending you trekking past works of art by artists like Mark di Suvero, Zhang Huan, and Menashe Kadishman.
