The home was built using bent maple poles, like an Iroquois dwelling. It’s snug and warm, even during winter months. The wood-burning stove keeps the space cozy, and even though it’s off-grid, you really have everything you need here.

There’s always something going on at The Howling Woods Farm. The owners are also onsite, and they have many animals who keep things interesting. You’re welcome to bring your own dog, too!

In addition to dogs and emus, chickens and other fowl live here, as well as a miniature horse and some goats. Take a stroll around the farm to meet all the creatures, then find a quiet place in the natural surroundings to relax.
