There’s so much great food in this state. That’s a fact. From the larger cities to the smaller towns, great restaurants have been popping up for decades. These are great for celebration special occasions, but you don’t have to believe all the hype. You can get a perfectly delicious meal in tons of places that aren’t recognized in national publications. Our favorite? This market which secretly serves some of the best meals ever!

You might know Squam Lake as one of the most beautiful places to visit throughout the year. Summer offers boating and swimming, while fall offers some of the most spectacular foliage in New England.

This is a great place to stock up on essentials, but we love it for the sandwiches. Their menu is large and it’s actually beautiful to read as well.

And each and every sandwich is inventive. Check out these breakfast sandwiches. They offer a pretty great reason to get up with the alarm.

Each day also has a new special. This one was a grilled chicken sandwich on a challah bun with BBQ sauce, caramelized onions, avocado, bacon, swiss and tomato.

While we love the excitement of the specials, the menu items are special o their own. This pan-seared rib eye sandwich comes with tomatillo sauce, avocado, arugula, red onion and tomato on a roasted garlic baguette.
