News just broke that some cities in the state won’t be opening their city-owned swimming pools this summer, which means you’ll have to find new springs, lakes, and rivers to cool off in when the hot weather arrives. The good news is, we have lots of great places to choose from in Oklahoma. One such place is Blue Hole Park in Salina. This privately-owned place has some of the cleanest and clearest water in the state and you’ll definitely want to put it on your summer bucket list.
Blue Hole Park is a popular summer attraction due to its ice-cold, clear water. To find this refreshing place, head seven miles east of Salina and look for the signs on the right side of the road off of N4470.

Blue Hole is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend and is a very affordable place to take the family. Weekends can get crowded, so we recommend visiting during the week. Click here to visit their Facebook page for more details.
