A while back, we came up with quite a few swimming holes in Georgia to add to your summer bucket list. You can find that article right here. However, this year we decided to do something a bit different—consider it a part two, if you will. This time around it won’t just be spots where you can swim, but instead, we found actual swimming holes. Waterfalls, creeks, streams, spring-fed lakes galore. Most of these swimming holes have easy to find directions if you just pop it in the GPS or print out directions ahead of time. We’ll provide many of the addresses of these spots within each description, as well as at the end of the list.

Swimming Holes in Georgia June 06, 2020 Marisa Roman What are the most beautiful beaches in Georgia? There are so many other beautiful swimming spots in Georgia worth considering for the next warm-weather afternoon. Beyond just the swimming holes, Georgia happens to also be a coastal state, which means there is direct access to the ocean! A few of the most stunning beaches you can consider for your next oceanside adventure should include Tybee Island, Savannah, Jekyll Island, and St. Simons to name a few. Where can I find the bluest water in Georgia? While there may not be blue water in Georgia that is reminiscent of the Caribbean, we do have a place that is considered to have the bluest water around. On a sunny afternoon, Cherokee Falls offers up a rich blue swimming hole. In addition to those looking for hiking trails with swimming in Georgia, Cherokee Falls will also be a good option. Take the Waterfalls Trail through Cloudland Canyon State Park and Cherokee Falls will be the first waterfall you see! Are there any inflatable waterparks in Georgia? Outdoor adventures in Georgia come in all different events and activities. But one of the summer activities that has been a huge hit with locals is the inflatable waterpark on Robin Lake Beach! Usually open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, guests can check out the gargantuan inflatable waterpark right smack dab in the middle of the lake.
