It’s getting warmer outside, which can only mean one thing: time to float the Salt River! Just in time for Memorial Day, Salt River Tubing has officially opened with protocols to ensure cleanliness and safety. Here’s what you can expect:

Just in time for Memorial Day, Salt River Tubing opened for the season on Saturday.

Facebook/Salt River Tubing A number of safety precautions have been implemented to ensure the safety of all tubers.

While supplies last, bandanas will be handed out to all tubers. Employees will also wear masks.

Guests must wear a face covering of some sort when renting or returning tubes, as well as while riding on the shuttle.

As for the shuttle, a maximum of 15 people will be allowed to ride at any given time.

There are currently no plans to sanitize the tubes themselves; however, they’re only used once per day and stored overnight in a building with temperatures that exceed 100 degrees.

Tubing hours are 9 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. daily, with the last rental at 1 p.m (weather and river conditions permitting, of course.)
