The City of Carmel has brought back its patio igloos for the winter season so that guests can enjoy the outdoors without truly being outdoors.

There are six of these fully furnished orbs, and they are first-come, first-served. Each is heated and includes tables, chairs, and lights.

While you’re at the downtown ice rink, you may be inclined to rent a pair of skates and try out your skills on the ice.

Ice skating is currently available through March 1, 2020, on Thursday between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. and Friday through Sunday between 12 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Skate rentals are between $4 and $10 depending on the day and each individual’s age. The best part about skating here is the views.
