Here in Ohio, there’s nothing like a day at the beach to melt away the stressors of life. Although we’re far away from ocean beaches, that doesn’t mean a day on a Lake Erie beach or the shores of a quarry won’t do the trick. Centennial Quarry in Slyvania, Ohio is a spring-fed swimming beach that features deep blue water, inflatables and even a water slide. I’m a big fan of Lambertville, New Jersey. It’s a charming small town on the Delaware River that draws visitors from all over for its amazing antiquing. Adverse weather is no stranger to the Lone Star State, and this year looks to be shaping up like any other.
