This exhilarating hike is quite the challenge, but the whole trail is full of beautiful scenery. With an elevation gain of over 2,000 feet and a rough terrain, this hike is sure to get your heart pumping.

Although the trail is mostly shaded, you’ll want to bring the right gear for this exhilarating hike. Make sure to wear the right shoes, bring water, and wear a hat to protect you from the sun.

This trail can be a bit difficult to find. Start in the Santa Fe Ski Area parking lot and look for the Windsor Trail sign. There is not a sign that specifically says Nambe Lake Trail.
