There are so many perks to living in Louisiana, it’s hard to keep count. One of the best perks is all those fresh, Louisiana strawberries that line the shelves at the grocery store this time of year. We’re at the beginning of berry picking season, which means you’ve got to start planning a weekend to spend picking your own strawberries. Mrs. Heather’s is just a short drive from the city, and the entire family will love getting to spend a day picking strawberries and playing on the farm.

If you’re looking to take a break from the city and spend an afternoon in rural Louisiana, a visit to Mrs. Heather’s is in order.
