Out in Carroll County where amazing views are in large supply, an amazing trail will lead you to the top of Mount Kearsarge.

Just outside of North Conway, the Mount Kearsarge North Trail is a hike that varies in difficulty depending on who you ask, but we’ll be certain in saying this isn’t a trail that you’d want to choose as your first hike due to how steep it can be at times.

Over the course of 3-miles, you’ll gain 2,600-feet in elevation as you follow the well-marked trail and pass over rocky surfaces and tree roots.

…but the Kearsarge Fire Tower!

Originally built back in 1909, the fire tower that you see before you today on the summit was built and replaced by the U.S. Forest Service back in 1951.

In operation until 1968, today the fire tower is used to reach amazing views of New Hampshire and makes for one scenic place to relax.
