When springtime comes around in New England, one of the best ways to embrace it fully is to take a scenic drive. The Mount Greylock Scenic Byway is one of the most versatile mountain drives in Massachusetts, and will take you to the summit of the highest peak in our state. This beautiful drive is 16.3 miles total, and will take you about 2.5 hours with various interesting stops at the at the summit of Mount Greylock. If you’d rather admire the springtime sights from your car, the trip will only take you 35 minutes! The route starts in Adams and extends into Williamstown, with plenty of sights to see along the way. Get ready for a beautiful spring drive through the mountains on the Mount Greylock Scenic Byway.
