The Boy Scouts of America decided that for their 40th anniversary (in 1950) they would place replicas of Lady Liberty around America. There are about 200 of them, and we’re lucky to get a few here in Kansas. Not only are there more than a handful, but there are 25 different miniature Statues of Liberty hiding around Kansas.
