With more than 180 farms and museums dedicated to maple syrup in the Empire State, you’ll find that no matter what region you live in there will be someplace special to dive into our March Maple Weekends. Well, to get you ready for this delicious season, we’ve decided to highlight an amazing little maple getaway waiting just outside of Buffalo inside this maple shack and pancake house! Just over 40 miles from Buffalo, Moore’s Maple Shack & Pancake House is one of our favorite places to visit during New York’s highly-anticipated maple season.

For five generations, the Moore family has been making maple syrup here in the small town of Freedom.

In 1986, Moore’s Pancake House came to life and has been decorated with old knick-knacks, tools, sleds, and all sorts of vintage trinkets ever since.
