A longstanding tradition, the market was held for the first time in 1893. It’s continued to wow savvy shoppers throughout the years, and now takes place on the Saturday and Sunday before the first Monday of every month.

Like most everything else, Ripley’s First Monday Trade Day was affected by the COVID pandemic; however, the market’s been okayed to reopen because of its open-air nature. Plus, it’s large enough to allow for adequate social distancing.
