The east coast could get hit with this untimely polar vortex and is expected to see rain, near-freezing temperatures, and potentially even a dusting of snow. This springtime winter vortex is said to hit the Bay State on Saturday morning, May 9th.

This storm is heading northeastern, and when it clashes with arctic air, a phenomenon known as a polar vortex is possible.
